I'm not sure it has a name beyond "elbow hang."  As well as getting into it from hood ornament, as you suggested, you could get into it from a shouldermount, from a side climb, or coming out of twisted ballerina (I've done this last one before).

I feel like it should have it's own name because putting elbow hang into google or Pole Dance Dictionary just brings up the embrace.  We should name it!

It looks like a variation of the elbow grip shoulder mount.

Elektra, how do you get into this move from twisted ballerina?

@ShinyApple – After trying it out, I realized that I just end up is a regular elbow hang, not a reversed one. I tried the reversed one, and it's surprisingly difficult (at least, compared to the regular one).  You not only have to have a really good grip in that direction, it's difficult to get the pole all the way into your elbow pit.  I was trying from a side climb, since that seemed the simplest way.  You could definitely do it from an elbow grip shouldermount, as mentioned above, but to get the hanging position in the photo, it would have to be an aerial elbow grip shouldermount, which is something I haven't tried yet.

PS – Just tried the aerial elbow grip shouldermount, which I did, but when I came down into just the elbow hang, I didn't have the grip to stay there. Tough move!
