Incredible. I’m going to share this with my husband. He had shoulder surgery many years ago and he took up fly fishing to rehab his shoulder then. He grew up skiing and snowboarding and really messed his shoulders up bad from all the falling and popping in and out of socket. He says he should really have surgery on the other shoulder too. I suspect it will start bothering him more as he gets older.

Will do 🙂 so happy to have someone to share this with, cuz mostly no one is interested but polers really do tend to be more interested in the body than anyone else. Hooray polers and hooray SV!

Ok, this is so weird. Back in October I pulled or strained a rotator cuff during a yoga session. I have been resting it and doing light shoulder conditioning ever since, and *pretty much* avoiding handstand work since it seemed to aggravate it. However, last Friday I was doing some of these elbow stands during practice and I noticed that my shoulder felt a lot better. I mean, it has been getting better each day, but I’m talking a significant jump in healing! It’s not 100% or anything, but I guess I can say, yea this worked for my injury! So freakin cool.

I haven’t had an issue with my rotator cuffs yet ( knock wood) but with all my aerial, I am paranoid about it. Think I’ll start incorporating elbow stands into my daily exercises. Thanks for the article! I sent it along to a coworker who is getting ready to have surgery. She’s been considering waiting anyway and trying some natural methods. I think this article is helping convince her to wait and at least see if she can heal it through other methods!

And I have not had trouble since I have been doing this – also plough and shoulder stand really help. Thanks Lucca for this. Am dying to see the actual exercuses niw!
