There are people where it comes from the knee, but that’s not the desired method of course.

I have no idea then – I can feel my hip turn out a lot when i do it but that just might be what happens? – i really have zero idea how to tell if its from the knees or hips…
Atm i feel my leg getting worse everyday im in two minds to wait to see what the phsio says or try to find some hamstring strengthening techniques – only problems there is no one to tell me if it could in fact make it worse if i do the wrong exercises/form – Or strengthened the wrong bit making the other bit even weaker? Looked into it and it will take about a month for a letter to come (apparently) the nhs is falling apart! (at no fault of the wonderful over worked staff though) 🙂

I think you should see someone specialized on sports injuries. They should be able to tell you which expercises would work or not. I mean, in addition to your doctor.
