I dont know if this has happened to anyone else but if it has (and it REALLY annoying) feel free to post. Anyway, last night after I got back home from the Spinny Pole and Aerial Workshop I got straight to editing all the footage we'd taken. Originally I was posting my instructor's routine that did yesterday and was anxious to have it up there as he'd finally got into scoptchoa  (the move similar to Emil Valentino's profile pic) and it looked beautiful. Once I got it up, labeled and tagged him and the ladies from the workshop, he was so HAPPY to see the end result…Even one of my moms friends that used to watch us when we were miniatures, asked is she could share it cuz she loved the routine. He said yes and she did indeed share (thank you Lorettahttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif). Then, all but five minutes later the video DISSAPPEARED!!! I didnt even know till Manny inboxed mehttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif. So I tried REuploading last night b4 heading to bed and tjis morning….STILL no vid https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif. I tried again and got this red error message stating that my ability to upload videos has been DISABLEDhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif!!! WHAT…I was BEYOND pissed off bcuz there was NOTHING offensive about it and certialy no copyright infringementhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif. Im only left to think some IDIOT didnt like the fact that its a guy on the pole and not me….He's an amazing poler and therefore I'll post his video here if thats okay with Veena. So again if anyone else has exprience with FLAGGING/Removal on relations to pole PLEASE REPLY

I just posted a video of my son DANCING and fb removed it. load of crap sometimes. I just put it right back up! if facebook didnt email you letting you know the reason for taking down the video then maybe it was a glitch…probably best if you just upload it to youtube.

Don't forget that you can upload videos here too.  We recognize that it can be difficult to share your pole videos with the world for all kinds of reasons and thats why we added the functionality to StudioVeena.Com.

They did that to me a while back. I uploaded it to YouTube and shred the link, they didn’t remove it when I did it that way.

My friend recently tried uploading a clip of us poledancing and it didn't get published. FB sent her a message the next day and said the reason it was flagged and not posted was because the music she edited the vid with was copyright material. I was a bit relieved that it was not because they thought our spin drills were offensive, but I was still pretty annoyed that they were extremely strict on a private video. But anyway… maybe it was the music you used that was the reason for the flag? My friend's vid was flagged pretty instantly so I think they must have some sort of screening program that detects certain music. I'd hate to think that there's some poor dude out there screening all our vids even before they get publish on the timeline. What a sorry job haha! In our case, my friend changed the music and the video went up.

like jag said, just upload it to youtube and then share on facebook.  it was probably because of the music.  even if the music is live in the video, they still consider it infringement.

It's like that with most places you try and upload when there is music added in the background.  You can't upload those kinds of edited videos on facebook or photobucket.  They have some sort of program that detects whether or not you've added "background music", however if there's music in the original clips and you don't get rid of that and upload it…  It should upload just fine.  The music you add is the copy right 3rd party infringement spew that they keep giving you heck about.

Same here, uploaded a short video to FB with some background music, it was removed due to copyright infringment, so I edited it without any music, reuploaded, and it was again removed due to copyright infringement! To make it better, there is no way to contact them to dispute the removal! I'm gonna do what blondebird said & just use youtube from now on & just share the links!
