Love falsies, but I suck at putting them on too! I have something like five different styles in my train case but I never wear them because I always botch it. The only time I ever got it right was YEARS ago for Halloween once and they were big metallic rainbow ones; it must have just been luck! Oh, and thanks for the blog link, zsah, I hadn't seen that one before and I thought I had seen all the good stripper blogs by now.

I made a tutorial video yesterday but I might go back and do a photo tutorial instead because my camera isn't really high tech enough to pick up the detail of the lashes on my eyes so I might redo it, I'm gonna watch the video now and see if it looks usable or not!

I prefer individual lashes to strip ones because I think they look a lot more natural. When you  use a semipermanent glue that is specifically made for individual lashes (I like Ardell LashTite in Dark) they can last you about one week if you are careful with them (dont use an oil based make up remover). I apply a few lashes on my outer corners and it makes a big difference.

I finally got my tutorial up for this I was having a really hard time with my camera not wanting to upload the video files and it took me a week to figure it out but I got it finally. I posted it on my new beauty blog for everyone to see, here's the link, enjoy!

one thing i like to do with any makeup application is to do my left eye before i do my right eye.  I am right handed and it is more challenging to do my left eye.  Since it is easier for my to do my right eye, i can more easily make my right eye symetrical to what was already done on the left eye. (lashes, liquid liner, whatever)

Not sure if any of what i wrote made sense, but I thought I'd share…

That's a good tip, katana. I'm right handed too, so usually by the time I'm done with the right eye I'm already halfway to impatient and totally futz the left side. This should help!

If you're especially looking for CHEAP lashes, check out RED CHERRY LASHES.  They're made of human hair, and I know some girls that swear by them.  And you can't beat the price – $2 to $3 a set.
