i love the 6 minute express warm up… I personally hate warm ups on my own, i always dread it.. Even though I cant stand doing it, I ALWAYS make myself do it anyway. I learned a long time ago this is a terrible idea and Ive always made myself do it since then.
Love hot showers to warm ul but I havent done that really since i moved. I usually make sure I layer up with legging, leg warmer over that, and a tank and a shirt over that.
I usually jump around like a wild woman and the layers help break a sweat faster. If you wear lots of layers and do the express warm up and maybe a minute of jumping jacks, you should be good to go after.
If you are going for a intense stretch session, i do all of the above and the. I do basic stretches for about 15 minutes before I even attempt splits or backbends
