• Fees?

I have been asked to perform at a show (during a fashion show, in the background) and I have no idea what to charge for my time and talent. The length of time will be about the length of 4 songs… Can anyone offer suggestions?

It really depends on what your comfortable telling them.  I did a gig at a strip club as a special judge, I was there for about 2hrs and made a flat rate of $100.

If you have a full time job, go by that hourly wage.  Plus consider your travel time, pole set up, warm up etc.

Charge a good amount. How long will you be there? What about your costuming/costs? Your time prepping for the show/setting up/tearing down?

People may think 'It's only 15 min. of dancing' and not realize you don't just show up and boom, there's an awesome perfomance.

It's hard to pinpoint a set price not knowing what your market will bear or all the specifics, but personally I wouldn't take less than 200, and I'd start out quoting a higher price than that.
