I don't have any other correspondence from them, but I'm just trusting that it's coming! I'm looking forward to all you US ladies to give us lots of feedback on what you think of the DVDs. I can't wait to get mine! So exciting! My first real "set" of them!
I really hope they come soon, like next week or so. That would be awesome!

I have my DVDs! I'm sick at home (argh!) so, I've got lots of time to review.
I'll warn you, though, I'm pretty in-depth with these things. I'll probably put it in my Blog here, as well as possibly my Tumblr!

Awsome! I look forward to your review! If they are worth purchasing, I am getting them for the holidays!

Is up! I will say though, don't just take my first impressions and go with that- read at least the conclusion as well. I know I can be rather verbose, but I wanted to be thorough! It was actually kind of fun, writing a review! It also helped me learn a lot more about what I look for in an instructional DVD 😉

I would buy these in a second except for the fact that shipping is 49.99!!!

Im in the US… waiting to receive them. Did pre order a while back. Can't wait to get them. Thanks Runemist34 for the reviews!

Yes JeHanne! Please write a review! The more reviews the better 😉
Just reading thru this thread has given me heaps of ideas for different pole DVDs to look at buying 🙂 -
Cupcake11- Oh man, that sucks! I hope the exchange is done quickly for you though!
JeHanne- Yes! Please do a review! I'd love to hear opinions on these DVDs that aren't my own! *big puppy eyes*

LOL! Okay I'll write a review… for the flexibility one… have not seen the others yet. I did the flexibility DVD tonight and loved it. So what did I love about it?
The warm up in this DVD is a true warm up that begins with gentle range of motion exercises then progresses into core strenghtening moves and finally cardio type moves that are done on the floor. These did raise my heart rate and warm my body so I was ready for stretching. They were clearly demonstrated and progressed in intensity.
Felix has beautiful form in all of the stretches and the voice overs synch with the movements that are being discussed. Her instructions are precise and clear, her voice is very confident and encouraging. The set is beautiful with rich purple silks behind her and a warm wood floor. It is very clean and her body is filmed to show appropriate angles and form so you are able to follow along easily. Her attire is simple and it is easy to follow along with her movements since her clothing contrasts with the background.
This DVD stretches the entire body! There are stretches that work upper body, lower body, shoulder/wrists and spine. I liked the variety of stretches and enjoyed seeing shoulder stretches that I have previously not seen before in any other exercise DVD. I also appreciated the forearm stretches. As pole dancers we really show no mercy to our poor shoulders, forearms and hands. Felix definitely accounts for this!
I loved, loved, LOVED that after doing backbending stretchings they were followed with forward bending stretches. That really impressed me since so many fail to balance the spine stretches. I normally have to pause my other DVDs to do some forward bends post backbend. Not so with this DVD!
There is additional strethching content as a DVD feature! I did not do it tonight. Called it a day after 60 minutes due to some chores and responsibilities I needed to do. Looking forward to going through it later though.
What I would suggest be done differently… I would like to see the stretches held longer. However… the stretches are held for 30 seconds or so which is perfect for most. Advanced stretchers like longer holds… I see that as extremely minor feedback since it is not applicable to most people. I do not fault the DVD for having average hold times.
This has become my favorite general flexibility DVD. I can't wait to get through the entire set of DVDs!

JeHanne-thx for that review…I had a feeling her stretching dvd would be longer than most and cover EACH area of the body, but your review makes me want to go ahead and get it. For those of you that didn’t see the Twirly Girl interview/blog today, Felix stated that goes through routine physical therapy sessions to counteract the wear n tear poling has on her body….I would guess she’s providing some great preventitive info.
