….Do we have to bring our own music-making things, or do they supply radio/dockingstation/something?

    Hey Gang!

I just happened to catch the weather report this morning before I left out for work and the DC/B-More area is suppose to be expecting a heavy snow storm this weekend. So that may affect everyone’s travel? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I hope it’s just a blow over though cuz it would suck for something to mess us up now! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif But I’d rather for everyone to be safe than to risk themselves on the roads or get caught at the airport in a delay. So everyone please double check their travel arrangements!!! We might even want to postpone https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I know – they’re calling for 3 inches by morning and a possible total of 12” by tomoorw afternoon. I’m a huge skeptic of the weather people in this area, they NEVER get it right, but htis one’s looking pretty serious – I’ll be really disappointed if we can’t do this, we’ll have to wait and see..

You are right about them always screwing things up. I really hope it is because I would be so disappointed. Waiting on a return email from Jessalynn about the X-Mas Party too so I’ll keep you all posted.

I need.. to know what this implies.
I’m from Texas, if that helps.

I thought yankees don’t mind driving in snow, and .. surely if a yank can go about doing it, I can. … Kidding! Really. Is it just that the snow will be coming down? And what does that mean?

haha Am, you have DC’ers confused with the true Northeast – I’m DC born and bred, and a good driver, and I’m the first to admit that people in this area turn into boob-brains when there’s any type of weather – but, DC brain or not, a foot of snow is no joke! And I’m just concerned about DOT’s ability to keep roads clear. I’ve been SO looking forward to this, so it’s gonna be a game-time decision – we just have to hope for the best!!

I was just thinkng about how this could affect people’s commute times. I’m not sure how everyone is traveling but I know everytime I time the Amtrak it’s always late and that’s in clear weather LOL So I just wonder how that will affect people who are flying and train riding, especially tomorrow during the weather. And anyone driving, it may even double the driving time because you can only drive so fast in snow I imagine.

Interesting! I see! Thank you both.

So it’s best to hope for the snow to come tonight so they can plow it in the morning, and we can have clear skies for everyone’s arrival time.. No clue about what I’m hoping for with the cutetrains, though!

Or for no snow at all. That sounds good too!

I’ll be borrowing my husband’s truck, since he has four wheel drive. I can fit another four people with me if anyone is worried about driving in the snow. You can email me: mailto:Terp258@aol.com also on FB

I was going to surprise everyone and show up tomorrow to meet you all , but now the weather seems like it will to be bad. Our car would never get us there in all the snow. I hope everyone has a good time , and be safe driving.
