Posted by Katrin_de_Larsen on June 26, 2009 at 9:37 pmHey girls and boys))) today I DANCED!!! for the first time for last 6 months. though it’s hardly can be named a dance… lol … I can’t describe my emotions https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Both happiness and horror))) All I can do for now are spins.. not a word about inverts or smthing)) I’m like a sack of potatoes and my body is a jellyfish! HAHAHA But the magic feeling returnes…slowly OMG! I’ve been dreaming of this. Please anybody share how you returned to poledance after a brake! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I watched Veena’s vids after baby. Heh, I could only envy)))

Thanx, Roxy-Pink!!Children are my everything))) But it takes plenty of time to deal with all things I have to do. And it’s so hard to find some time for myself https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

don’t watch Veenas after baby videos!!!! She’s an alien pole dancing life form! LOL, I wasn’t pole dancing around the time I had my kids but I can only imagine how hard it would be to get back in the saddle after so long and with the changes the body goes through with pregnancy.
Did you dance at all while pregnant?

LOL my first time back was not good, it might look smooth but everything was sooo painful even pole sits! I could BARELY do an invert.. LOL. How old is your baby now? It can take a while for your abs to function like they use to…I felt like I was a thousand pounds https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif it did come back fast for me, BUT think its because I took it slow. I started back on the pole at 3 weeks post baby (I think thats with first vid said) but I only danced once a week if that, for the first 5 weeks of getting back on the pole. I worked more on strength training. Now its been 8 months after my last baby and my abs still arn’t as strong as they use to be, do to lack of time https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
One last thing, if you happen to have my online lessons the strength move I call the "switch" is great for your abs, my abs separated during all of my pregnancies ( the most with my 3rd) and this move helped get them back to almost normal. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

My princess is 3 months https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif The situation with my abs was a bit better with my 2 boys. This time I only could find my abs after pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Now I know that they DO exist in my body Hahaha My legs also hurt terrific https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif so by now I started doing exersises to return my strength and stretching. About the lack of time… heh… It’s almost the greatest problem for me now https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif Sooo hard to deal with all things https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I’ll take your lessons!!! Of course!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Thanx, hunny)))
