Hello I just relocated to the Chicago area and was poling for about 7 months prior, so I have had beginner instruction and a little intermediate instruction and am looking for a quality studio with small pole classes (no more that 8-10 students) that offers an open pole option and/or offers different level classes every week as opposed to a 6-8wk format. I'm currently taking pole dance classes at Flirty Girl. In the pole dance classes they teach the same basic moves (fireman, peggy flemming, pirouette. slide down the pole, fan kick) and I've done 3 of the pole tricks classes but the class sizes are so large that its hard to get individualized instruction w/out a private lesson-they're already expensive! The one thing I do like about FG is that I can go when I want/need to via a punch card and not be locked into a 6-8wk program.

    Thanks

Where are you in relation to the city? North, South, East, West, and mileage?

Well, not East unless you live on the lake!

    http://www.MidwestPoleDancing.com/MidwestPoleSchools.htm

This is a website with a list of studios in the Midwest. Maybe this will help?

I know that S Factor and Empowerment Through Exotic Dance both run sessions.

Thanks Saphyre! Chemgoddess1, yes I've checked out both and I wanted something a little more flexible.

Not sure about any of the others except the ones in the burbs, which is where I live. I like the studios in Naperville (Tease) and Geneva (Tiger Lily). I am really far west and go to Rondi's. Very small classes here as it's just growing, which also means that the classes aren't super advanced yet.
