I am thinking about getting a flygym system to place close to my pole. I am hoping to use it along with the pole and eventually build enough core strength to help me with inverts. I can invert on the flygym with no problem, and I regularly take flygym classes. I was curious is anyone on this site has found the flygym to be beneficial in learning how to do inverts on the pole? I guess I’m just feeling like it would be a little more supportive for certain moves. I do have to add that though I do flygym all the time I just started poling, so I am very much a baby at it. Any advice would be helpful.

I like using my fly gym for abs stretching, flexibilty, and as a kinda spotter when doing moves.

Rose2011 I teach Fly Gym classes here in the Gold Coast Australia and I have a Fly Gym beside my pole at home. They are great for learning to do inverts and tricks that require a little spotting. For my students that struggle with inverts I get them to use it as an extra support because they may be afraid to go upside and they attach it to themselves like a harness. It is great for inverting on and building up the strength to invert on a pole as well as stretching. I love them 🙂

I love inverting in my fly gym. It will decompress your back for any inverted injury on a pole. If I over do it I spend a lot of time inverted in my fly gym and love it soooo much. And flexibility so friendly and gentle.
I even sleep or rest there sometimes
