For instructors: creating your teaching program
Hi everybody, my question today is:
how do you usually create your teaching program? do you divide students group into beginner/intermediate/advanced level or do you use a different categorization?
What's the division point between the levels you consider and what about learning time?
Is there a teaching program (beiside Veena's) we can inspire from?
My students start from the very beginning, so I'm starting to write down my teaching program from Level 1. I have learnt and I'm still progressing my self so I'm trying to find a way among the information cloud I'm in.
I will keep track of it on a register and make sure I will cover any aspect (pole to floor, floor to pole, transitions, floorwork as well as spins, inverts and trick when tha moment will be suitable). This will make it easier once I restart teaching with a different group of students.
Students keep asking me "how does it take to learn and progress"?
Thank you for all of your advice and experience.
