I have gold titanium x-pole and have tried Tite Grip and iTac Extra Strength and my hands sweat right through them.  Even when trying them together…  So I even try my Mighty Grip gloves with tack but then my finger tips sweat and feel like I slip right off the pole.  It's hard to feel comfortable trying any kind of tricks since my hands won't stop sweating.  It's not to the point they are dripping wet but still slick and clammy enough that it causes problems.  Anyone else have this problem or have suggestions?

Hi PR. I use Dove Clinical Strength Deoderant on my hands at night. I keep it on my bedside table so I don't forget. Click some out of the container and rub your palm over the product. Click again and get the other palm. Then, I rub my hands together as if I am putting on lotion, except I don't get the backs of my hands. Make sure you get the whole length of your fingers including fingertips, between the fingers, and in the flesh between the thumb and first finger. If you do this for a while, you can cut back to just a couple of times a week. The day I pole I use Might Grip, then follow with Dry Hands. I am menopausal so I know all about sweat!! Good Luck!

I’m the same way. The only thing that seems to work for me is if the room is freezing. Also, learning on a different material pole really helps for me. It gets up enough strength to squeeze harder on the standard home pole (ewwwww chrome 😐 )

You might try a prescription for detail at night, then tite grip in layers when you pole??? That is what I am starting to do, but it takes a while to work.

Btw, brass seems to work best for me with sweaty hands. It isn’t perfect, but it is better than other finishes.

I used to slip and slide constantly because of sweaty hands, no matter what grips i used, but the stronger my grip has become the fewer problems i have. I still have to use a lot of grip aid – tite grip and liquid chalk at moment – but rather than hands sliding straight off the pole, i can control my slippage more. because of this, i am more confident to try moves that i never woud have in the past. saying that, pole finish is also important – me and my chrome pole do not get on well, but i'm ok on stainless steel and brass is my favourite.

so try not to let your frustration take over! keep trying all your anti-perspirants and grip aids and keep working on your grip!
