Girls and/or Boys hand me downs clothes needed!
Hi guys. As some of you know, I was laid off several months ago and still haven't found employment. I am embarassed to be reaching out like this but desperate times call for desperate measures. We are barely making ends meet paying our rent and bills at the moment. My kids are badly in need of clothes. Family has helped us some by getting our children some articles of clothing as xmas gifts but they need more to get through winter and spring.
I know many of you are parents of children around the same age as mine, so I am asking for any hand me down clothes that you may have that you can spare. Please help if you can. Inbox me if you can help and I will supply you with my address. Thanks!
My daughter wears sizes Girls 4 & 5 (mostly wears 5)
My son wears sizes Boys 8 & 9 (mostly wears 9)
PS. I am registered with the freecycle groups in my area and have posted ads several times looking for hand me down clothes but no one has responded, so that's how I ended up trying here.

No need to feel embarrassed, we all need a little help sometimes. Being strong enough to know when to ask for it is honorable. I have no kiddos, but I will keep you and your family in my thoughts <3

Yes size 5 in little girls clothes. Size 8/9 in boys clothes. Thank you to everyone who responded so far, I appreciate it.

I have boys for sure and might have girls does she also need any shoes I have three so understand how you feel all the clothes are in almost new condition and if need anything else just let me know. In box me where to send clothes for you ok US moms have to stick together do you need anything for interviews and such?? If so let me know have tons of live business outfits all sizes

I have an 11 year old who has a ton of clothes that he has grown out of. I'm in San Francisco until the New Year. I see that you live in Sylmar, CA. I live in Valencia, CA, not too far from you. The next time I'll be home is Jan 13th, but only for a few days. Maybe we can set up a place to meet and I can give you a bunch of stuff, or if you want, you can just stop by and go through to see what you may want and need.

Aww hunny don’t be embarrassed,we all go through rough times. The fact you acturly thought to ask for help is great as some people never do. I love how people have oferd to help just shows how good the veena comunity is 🙂 and how people are there for each other and I’m glad to be a part of it. I wish I could help but im in the uk and have a 4 year old boy so don’t think I’m much use. But I would like to wish you and all your familys a very merry christmas and all the best for the new year xxx
