I've purchased recently two pair of Glitter heels made by Tiffany (see the pictures in my album) and I love them!!! If I could afford it, I would have bought almost one pair of each color. Classy and sexy shoes…

Hi Wild Lotus! I am extremely rough on my shoes and I tend to grind the front toe/base off into shreds. I use paint or markers to 'color' back on the white part of the base when I've shredded off the exterior/pigment.
So…. with the glitter heels I do not do heel slides. I handle them with extra care because they are so pretty it would hurt me to actually tear them up. I do toe drags when I walk in them and they have held up very well with that. I have used them for dancing, pole climbs and other floorwork and they are totally beautiful still. I do have to admit they are my favorites so I save them for special occasions.
I love my glitter heels and Tiffany has always been a pleasure to work with. It is my choice to not subject them to the same demands as my non glittered shoes because I literally take parts of the base off and get a good 3-4 months wear before my shoes are trashed.

spray a clear coating on them , thats what I do with my precious shoes, and for my boots, i put clear tape on the toes where it slides, doesnt damage them

@ JeHanne, Ok cool! I took your advice and bought a pair of Pleasers….they fit like a glove:-) I bought a pair of neon pink ones though. I'll have to buy a clear pair to send to Tiffany….can't wait, I'll let you know how they turn out:-)
@ OLIVIA, thanks for the tip!

@https://www.studioveena.com/users/view/4fbd32f6-1138-4928-b9f3-5e7c0ac37250 – I glittered my neon pink Pleasers with pink glitter and had no problems 🙂 It actually worked really well because if the glitter rubs off (thank you very much "toes in the sand" :P) it's still pink underneath.
My before and after pic is here: http://poledance101.wordpress.com/2012/07/21/its-all-about-the-shoes/

Those are pretty Glitterqueen!
Wild Lotus, contact Tifanny if you want to look into what types of colors you can put over your pink shoes. You might not need a clear shoe.
All this glitter talk is making me want a new pair!
