Happy St Patty’s Day. I’m so excited….. I got my new shoes today! OMG 7.5 inch heels! I was scared to get them….I’m already 5′ 11″, now I’m 6’6″ 😁. Veena said she has some that put her at 6’2″, so I thought what the hell and did it. Cross your fingers I don’t break my ankle! I just wanted to share…. It’s like Christmas! So how long foes it take to get used to these anyhow?

The ankle straps are just glued in! Who does that on such a big heel….the strap came out already: ( can they big fixed? I wonder if these are cheap knock offs? I thought Ellie’s are supposed to be good? I bought them on eBay…..when I contacted them I was told they are out of stock and I can return them for a refund. I really like them.

There is a possibility that they are a discontinued item and have been sitting in crappy storage conditions for a while. You may be able to re-glue them.

I think all those shoe brands just have the straps glued in. I had the same thing happen. I just used super glue — lots of it — and shoved those babies back in their homes. But I still would cross my fingers every time I wore them, knowing how [poorly] they were constructed. Now I only dance barefoot. And I happen to think THAT is super sexy! My personal preference at present 🙂
    Good luck!

That happened with mine but they were just cheap non-brand ones from eBay… I would expect ellies and pleasers to be a bit more robust… as proper pole shoes they are designed to take a bit more punishment surely..?

That’s what I’m thinking too, but I bet they were in a crappy warehouse and that’s what happened. My wonderful boyfriend is going to try to fix them with a clear apoxy. He knew how excited I was to get them, even though he’s complaining about needing a step ladder to kiss me, lmao
