Hey all!! I’m Ashley and I’m a new poler of about 2 months. I’m soo addicted! It makes me feel sexy and tones me up so well ! Hoping to lose some weight with it as well. I also plan to get my own pole for home eventually. It just has to be a portable and adjustable one for multiple ceiling heights . I look forward to talking with y’all !

Hey there! I'm still a pole baby myself. I've been actively poling since March but I've been poling on and off since 2009. I had a baby boy in January and I was at 227 lbs (103kg) and I've lost 27 lbs (12 kg) since I started again in March. As you progress, your confidence will shoot up sky high like your shorts and your heels! As far as poles, X-Pole sounds like it would be the best for you. There's a bunch of discussions on here about all of the pole manufacturers out there and there's many veterans who will be more than happy to help you. I purchased mine in 2009 for $250 from a lady that didn't like the color. They vary in price due to material, size (width) and extensions. Be sure to accurately measure your ceiling and find a stud to support your pole on. Good luck!

With the X-Pole, there's a rubber ring that is in contact with the ceiling, not the entire dome piece. I'm sure you could get the popcorn stuff from any home improvement store. Someone at my studio had popcorn ceilings and she did something similar.

Ah okay. As long as I can fix it and it won’t fall down on me (I’m 170lbs right now ) then I’m open to it, lol.

I'm currently 203 (gained water weight) and I've never had it fall on me. 🙂 I believe it is safe up to 250-300 lbs.

I am in FL and got an Xpole Xpert (10 foot ceilings) and the pole is great. No issues with it and has been very sturdy. I practice on it the days I don’t go to the studio classes and has helped.

I need one that breaks down in pieces though right now. I can't hide a 8 ft pole anywhere.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Not sure if it would work for you but I slide my poles under my bed. 🙂

Didn't even think about that, Veena! Is it adjustable in case we moved to a place with taller ceilings, though?
