DesireeGattis-Stall bars are awesome! I grew up doing gymnastics and wish I had one in my house. They can be used for many different strength and flexibility exercises. Here is a youtube video that shows some examples of what you can use it for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au0ykvSiEi8

Dang.. my reply didn’t go through earlier.. stupid wifi on my phone.
Anyway… I will ask hubby for the specifics on why concrete is the preferred as its all engineering language outside of my realm. lol
I only partially listen when he goes off on tangents as he has taken my idea and popped my bubble.. lol. I am grateful he is soooo king of overkill for safety.. but it is still a buzz killer.

I know that every single gymnastics club I have trained in or taught in- they are always mounted directly into concrete.
I wanted to mount a set at my previous location(before we moved) and it couldn’t be done as the unit was a concrete unit… but it had steel stud/drywall construction and the hubby put a flat out nix on any idea I had..
That problem has been solved since we moved as I have a big beautiful concrete wall to utilize.

    Hi,
I recently had a friend build a stall bar for me. They are very sturdy made out of maple wood. I am hoping they will help me with certain moves like the handspring. All I need now is for Veena to post a how to best use a stall bar tutorial. I have watched several videos on you tube. The stall bars are a challenge in themselves. They are also awesome for stretching and flexibility training

Grayeyes!!! sorry it has taken so long to get pics of my pole room but here it is!! Still a ways to go but it’s getting there. I need to figure out my floor situation, my husband made sure I have the whole square for extension purposes, so I’d like to put maybe floating floor there. Also where the door is in the right, will be where I want the stall bars.

Thx Grayeyes, I will. I love the big mirror too!! I think I got a great price…it was $275 delivered and installed through gigantic mirrors. I would definitely recommend them if anyone is looking for a mirror to purchase.
