Hey All, I've been stuck on my handsprings for a while now and am hoping for advice. I can get up in a handspring using True/Split Grip or Twisted Grip, but I can't hold either because the top shoulder isn't strong enough to stablize me. My chest doesn't ever square and open up, and I twist out of it. Does anyone have tips for strengthening this muscle?

The funny and frustrating part is that I handspring bottom arm dominant, but decending from a twisted grip hold I have top hand dominant. I've tried reversing the handspring, but my non-dominant arm isn't strong enough to push me up – I think I need to work both sides a little more evenly https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
