Has anyone purchased the lessons from this site?
Posted by Vdub on October 7, 2009 at 4:49 pmI just bought a pole for my home 2 weeks ago. I’m really excited and am interested in practicing regularly. Has anyone purchased the video lessons on this site? If so, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Lots of people here uses Veena’s lessons. They’re quite good and cover everything from strength and flexibility to safety to spins and tricks.

go for it!
veena´s lessons are great. very easy to understand. if you´re having trouble with a move you can post a vid and veena and everybody else will help you figure it out. and you can start using them right away!
good luck!

Thanks. I took the plunge and learned Fan Legs today! It was awesome. I’m planning to master this move and then move on to the next one until I can fly on the pole!

I use Veena’s lessons and they are really helpful and informative. She’s a great teacher and explains everything really well.

I did! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Last year in August of ’08 I did the lessons. I loved them. I feel like I was able to progress appropriately by doing her lessons. I would (and do) highly recommend them! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

hayley, id email veena about that, im not sure to be honest. but to anyone considering her lessons, i’d HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them. she covers flexibility, strength training, combos, and pole moves in order from easiest to the most hard. ive been able to progress on the pole SO MUCH since having her lessons. plus she explains the move in such simple terms, you’ll be a pole queen in no time!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bigsmurf.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_brilsmurf.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_smurf.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_smurfin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_farao.gif GET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve had a couple of types of lessons, including in a studio, and I find Veena’s lessons to be very well done, informative, and helpful. There are moves on here that I’ve never learned, and some that I have. Obviously one person cannot have a catalogue of every move there ever was, but it’s a great start, and an AWESOME resource for those who are getting into inversions! I recommend them, even if you only get them for one month to see what they are, and memorize the moves you can do…and then get some more later for the inversions! That’s my plan!
