HOH Round 2 lottery is Open between Aug. 26-Spet 5. All competitors are chosen at random!! This way everyone has an equal chance of getting chosen!

Head Over Heels has created the East Coast's most unique competition – one which is reserved for female pole students only! That's right – pole dance instructors, "pole-fessionals" or professional-level competitors are not permitted to compete in our events.

The 2012 HOH Competition series features two categories for aspiring competitors to choose from… either the “Basic Pole” category for Beginner/Intermediate ladies or the “Anything Goes Pole” category for Intermediate/Advanced level ladies. Even more, competitors are selected through a random lottery process which means everyone has an equal chance to participate. We know you have a unique, inspiring story to tell and can't wait for you to have your moment in the spotlight!

The top four Round 2 winners from each category will be awarded a spot to compete in the Grand Finale event scheduled tentatively for December 2012 in Raleigh, NC. Stay Tuned for the Announcement of the GRAND FINALE event!!

**HOH Round 2 Lottery application form – email to headoverheelscharlotte@gmail.com between August 26 to September 5 for your chance to selected to compete on October 20!**

Ladies this is a FABULOUS competition to be a part of, especially for first time performers!!  Everyone who submits has an equal chance of being selected… AND there are two skill categories to choose from when applying.

The ladies absolutley ROCKED the poles in Round 1 and it wouldn't have been possible without all the great event sponsors:

    Bad Kitty Exotic Wear

What are the guidelines for each catagory? I've only been poling a couple months so I doubt I'm good enough for either but maybe next year 🙂

@glitterqueen- The Basic pole category is for beginner/intermediate levels. Inversions or move in which your hips are above your head are NOT allowed, exluding dance and floor work. The Anything goes is exactly that!! This category is for intermediate/advanced levels. These categories are strictly for students only! Both categories are allowed to have props!! We strongly encourage competitors to have fun and show us their talents. This can include hula hoops, chair work, ribbons, etc. Get Creative!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Everyone should totally submit–this is a REALLY fun and uplifting event.  A lot of the girls who preformed in the Basic Category were first time preformers (including the girl who one first!!) and for most of us, it was our first competittion.

I uploaded some videos to YouTube of Round 1 and you can get an idea of how crazy fun it was:  http://www.youtube.com/pantherchild

Yeah, there's a girl with a hula hoop, and a girl with a cowboy hat, and a girl with a hipflask…and I have a glittery tequilla bottle.  ðŸ˜€ Glitterrrrrr yesssssssss more glittteerrrr!

There's a couple of videos from the Anything Goes round up on my page too, but not many cause I forgot my other memory card (oops).  Here's all the winners: http://www.youtube.com/user/foxxyauthority/videos

The best thing about the Basic category is that you really are encouraged to do ANYTHING you want! Hula hoop, chair dance, belly dance, acrobatics, break dance…heck, get up there and vouge at the judges for a while.  Everyone will LOVE IT.

Take a chance and submit–it will be a seriously fun and positive experiance. No crazy pressure, no catfights (unless you coreograph one in! 😀 ), just a good time with some prizes at the end.  ðŸ˜‰
