Heart spongey thing from Xpole
Posted by NonFlexy on December 17, 2012 at 12:43 pmI got a heart shaped spongey type thing from Xpole in my package with my pole. What is it??? Am I supposed to clean the pole with it?

Are you sure it’s for your body?? I got one with my x-pole too…it’s REALLY rough…more like something you’d wash dishes with…

Yes totally for ur body. I know seems crazy, but got that direct from the source @ PoleCon in June. They called it a “body slougher” or exfoliator or s’thing like that. Funny too bc there were like 2 other xPole employees + 1-2 pro polers + my own studio owner + 1-2 other bystanders all there looking at me nodding and saying “yeah, it’s a blah-blah” like in other words, “duh, didn’t u know?”… So I was like, “ok… I’m clearly the moron here” so I’m happy now to see it’s NOT so obvious to others… LOL
That said, I will tell u that I personally like that thing for a cpl reasons/purposes (no, not dishes): I personally enjoy a good hard scrub when I bathe, plus helps w/my blood circulation which I’ve always had issues with… Hence I tend to like that black abrasive side just for that reason alone… But with this in mind, where that spongey-heart thing has come to live is in our camping gear — again, NO, not to wash dishes… But, you know how u don’t always get around to showering daily when camping? And maybe tend to get extra grimey? Well this thing is AWESOME precisely in that situation, which I’m in quite a # of times a year bc we go camping a lot. Another huge plus: it retains almost NO excess water, so dries SUPER fast, and no matter how deformed it gets wherever u pack/store it, returns to original shape no problem. Nifty little item…Now if only xPole could design that BRASS pole as effectively… Hmmm… (sorry to rag on ur brassy again, xPole… But Please, we can’t have that woble! Esp not at that pricepoint!)
