Hello!
Posted by Andy on March 12, 2009 at 7:13 amHello everyone, I’m Andy! I’ve been a pole dancer for almost two years and I just recently stumbled across this site. I thought it would be great to meet fellow dancers and learn more…
Lately I haven’t had much time for practice -my old pole (*eh hem* from Platinum Stages) actually snapped in half at a party I hosted …and now I’m anxiously awaiting my new pole from X-pole! Can’t wait to get dancing again!

Hey Andy!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_queen.gif
I’m fairly new to this site and new to pole as well (it hasn’t even been delivered yet lol) but welcome anyway!! Everyone welcomed me so warmly when I got here, so I just feel like passing it on!
Yikes your platinum stage broke in half?!?! I hope you didn’t get hurt!! I ordered an X-Pole aswell. What kind did you get? I got the Titanium Gold 50mm. I will just be dancing recreationally for fitness mainly but I do plan to show off a bit in the clubs when I get good LOL I show off anyway https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif but mostly hip hop and street dance. I also do modern and african. Do you know any other styles of dance besides vertical?

Yikes!
Does that mean i’m destined to damage something too? lol God I hope not. My property manager is such a *&^$#!!! Pardon my french. I don’t usually use language like that, especially describing women, but that lady is the devil. She’s just plain mean!! If anybody watches The Golden Girls, she reminds me of that lady Freida Claxton that Rose killed.
LOL I bet nobody even knows what I’m talkin about hahaha
In either case, welcome Andy!! And everyone please be careful. I hate to hear of anybody getting hurt. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

i was just foolish when i put my pole up, i didnt’ take the time to figure out where the studs were, so just be careful when you’re putting your pole up and you should be fine. your landlady sounds like a witch!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_batman.gif

Welcome to the site, Andy! Geez…I never heard of that kind of problem with a P/S pole . I know there’s a little sense of rivalry between the fans of each company, but generally, both types of pole are viewed as reputable and dependable. Did it break at an extension or connection–or literally fracture along the tube?
