Hello from Miami Beach
Hi, I’m Robyn…been taking pole classes since April and have officially become addicted to it. I am hoping to be able to get a pole around the holidays or the new year so I can practice more.

Thanks! It certainly is addicting. I used to study and perform Afro-Brazilian dance and did a bit of modern, all of which I loved, but I have never experienced the constant desire to do something like I have with pole dancing, and I am such a newbie, only been taking classes for 5 months.
Can’t wait to get my pole so I can really can do it every day and get good at it.

Hi Robyn! Welcome to SV. Where in Miami Beach are you? I used to live on South Beach at 18th & Washington. Where are you taking classes? I think the pole community in Miami has grown quite a bit since I left. I heard there are a few studios to choose from now. Awesome! What a great place to pole. I’d love to see some Afro-Brazilian dance–could you post a video some time?

I live in Sobe – 8th and Meridian. A pole studio that has been in Coral Gables the past 2 years just opened one on Lincoln Road.
I have not done Afro-Brazilian in years! I did it when I lived in San Francisco 9 years ago and do not have any videos of me from back then at all because that was before everyone had video recorders on their phones and before the age of youtube.
