Hello from Texas
I decided that I wanted a new way to tone up because I can’t motivate myself to do my workout routine everyday like I should. I’m a musical theatre major in college right now and I’ve also been dancing ballet, modern, jazz and tap for a number of years. I’m pretty happy with my body but I want to be more toned all around. My boyfriend is currently in Iraq and I figured that getting fit with pole dancing would be a fun thing to surprise him with and I figure I would have an easier time motivating myself to do something that is dance oriented.
I did have a few questions. I was looking at a number of different poles. In particular the peekaboo pole and the x-pole. I live in an apartment so I don’t want anything that has to be screwed into the ceiling. It looks like the x-pole doesn’t have to be but I am a college student and it is a bit expensive. I can’t tell with the peekaboo pole if it has to be screwed in or not but it is a good deal cheaper. I’m definitely willing to splurge though if the x-pole is worth it. If anyone has any advice that would be great. Also, how discreet is shipping on the x-pole. My landlady is VERY conservative and I don’t want her to worry about the pole possibly damaging the ceiling (though I know another girl in the complex who has one and she said there wasn’t any damage).
