OK girls and guys, the date is set for our 1st SV Ontario Pole Jam. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif SUN , FEB, 28 at 3PM TO 6PM at Aradia Fitness Brampton studio. 57 MILL STREET NORTH, suite 210, Brampton, Ontario.The studio is a historical building called The Old Shoe Factory.The studio is large, spacious, beautiful hardwood floor with ten 11-12 foot brass poles. The fee is $20 each for the 3 hours of studio time. Pole practice there is usually 15 dollars an hour, so 20 dollars is reasonable for 3 hours of blissful poling with great friends. We should also each bring some kind of munchie/finger food, so we have a potluck table to refuel between poling. If it goes well, we can have a pole jam on a regular basis. I’m gonna start another post on the pole jam/competition forum. Please let us know if you plan on joining us on all the fun. Maybe, some of you can carpool if you are from out of town. Yay, an Ontario pole jam! Unfortunately, I can’t make it to this one, but perhaps there’ll be more in the future. =)
I hate to put a request like this out to the public, but I was wondering if there’s anybody in the Hamilton / Burlington area that has a couch I could crash on this weekend. Or even somewhere slightly further afield (but closer than Ottawa). =P I just found out I need to attend a meeting down there this weekend, but I’m also signed up for an online workshop with Alethea on Sunday that I don’t want to miss! >< Whoever hosts me is definitely welcome to watch the workshop with me! *dangles carrot* LOL!

Well, I found a random university student to stay with… yay, couchsurfing! I just hope she doesn’t mind me practicing floorwork in the middle of her living room. =P
