Hello from a Northern Irish Girl in New Zealand!!!
Hi everyone!!
I’m from Belfast in Northern Ireland, but currently living in New Zealand! I ahve only been dancing for about 3 months but done my first inverted crucifix last night! I am treating myself to a pole for christmas (which i hope will fit in my garage) but have learnt a lot from this site already!!!

It most certainly is, although the bruises and raw skin are a side affect i hope goes away soon! I still think i’m hanging on from grim death, have to work on those thigh muscles a bit more!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

Welcome!
The bruises and raw skin go away after a while, but in the meantime you just sorta force your skin to toughen up. However, then you learn a new move and are hanging off a new patch of skin or the same patch in a slightly different way and it is the same story all over again… I think of it as kind of a rite of passage for each new move. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Aw thanks for all the welcomes!! I’m living in Hawkes Bay on the North Island of New Zealand. It’s a fantastic place to live and my pole class is so close! This site is awesome, i can’t wait to get my pole for christmas so i can practice even more!!!
