My chrome xpoles have some funky film on them that alcohol will not cut through.

I have tried hot soapy water……my iso alcohol……
Once I wipe them down, they have a film.

    Any suggestions?

    Huge thanks

Have you tried acetone? Acetone usually gets everything alcohol can’t. Have also heard of using vodka too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    No….haven’t tried that…..

Will nail polish remover with acetone in it work? or does it have to be pure acetone?

Just acetone. Nail polish removers also have other weird ingredients in them that add moisture (even though it doesn’t feel like it) And it will probably make the pole really slippery.
