I recently moved and had to disassemble my X-Pole. Now, I’m trying to reassemble my pole and I can’t get the pole to screw to the ceiling. I have taken it apart and put it back together multiple times and I have followed the installation video to a “T” and I still can’t get the pole to screw to the ceiling so I can secure it. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Is it not extending? Are you sure you have spin mode locked out?

Thanks for replying! No it’s not extending. And the spin mode is locked. And I have the spin screws lined up with the “X”s on th base.

Yep they are unscrewed and I actually removed them entirely in efforts to get my pole to extend. But it still wont extend. I emailed Xpole but have yet to hear back from them.

I believe X-Pole is closed for the holidays until January 6th.

Sound like maybe it needs lube, out the threads got misaligned somehow.

Okay. I will try to see if that helps. Would WD40 be okay to use you think?

I don’t think that’s one the pole companies recommend. I’d ask x pole what they recommend. Aerial Amy did a blog post about a metal lube that is really good. It has metal bits in it. Check her blog to see which lube it is.

Thank you so much! I’ll check her blog out and X pole finally got back to me as well. Hopefully they can help me find a solution.
