Help!! I took down my x-pole about a year ago and a half ago when I got out of a 9 yr relationship & moved out; and some parts I couldn't even get loose so are still connected. I have no idea how to put it back up. I am so lost. :-(( Is there anyone in Biloxi, MS that can help me put it back up?? Or if anyone can show me through video chat?? I miss pole dancing SO much. Ever since I moved, I hadn't had a chance to put it back up. I am a working single mom and full-time student. I think that if I put it back up, I will be motivated to get back on and start pole dancing again. I am desperate here. We don't have stuff like this down here on the MS gulf coast, therefore I can't find any help. And I am not really good with putting this up, last time I had help from a friend but she is no longer here. Someone please please help me!

Is it the old screw together version or an x-joint?

If it's an old style x pole, you need to use the chopcticks and a hammer. stick the chopsticks in the holes tot he two pieces youwant to separate. Have one against the ground. Take a hammer, while holding the other chopstick (not on the ground) smack the base of the chopstick. It may take several smacks, but the SHOCK is what separates the pieces.

The x pert: if the joint isn't shifted, it just sometimes takes a lot of strength to close the joints. Stick the hex key in the joint hole. put your thumb around the pole while your other 4 fingers hook around the hex hey. Use your thumb to help add torque to the hex key by squeezing your fingers together. That usually releases the joint for me.

Exactly what AerialGyspy said but I got some WD40 and sprayed inside the wholes. A few minutes later I got them apart.
