Help!
Hey everyone!
I have been waiting for MONTHS to put up my pole now that we moved into a house. My issue is, that the unfinished basement has exposed ceiling supports which are slim. I am very nervous about putting my pole up because I thought you needed he entire dome to be secured on the ceiling (not just by a peice of wood)…I've contemplated selling the x-pole since I haven't even used it and am so frusterated that I can't seem to put it up without being a nervous wreck. Any ideas, suggestions…or should I just sell the dang thing and get my money back? I've been wanting to learn how to pole dance for over 3 years now, and now that I have it, seems like I feel all my ceilings are working against me.

Ceilings are just drywall attached to the wood supports usually with screws or nails. I personally would use a 2×2 section of at least 1/2 inch plywood or even drywall, attach it to your ceiling where you uintend to put up your pole and voila!

Order one ceiling mounts! They screw into the joists! If the mount is too wide for the joinst, just drill enough hoes into the mount that would make it secure. Voila. Problem solved, and it would be easier to put up!
