  Help ! First Pole Show!

  Hi everyone, 

  Just wondering if you have any suggestions on a song for my first pole show! I'm already in a group performance to the james bond 007 theme and i also need to pick a song for a solo …. must be from a film or musical! And also it can't be slow tempo because too many people have picked slow tempo songs! : (

   

  So far i have :

  Douster – king of Africa (not sure if i'l be allowed to use it because its a remix but its from teh lion king)

  &

  David Bowie – Magic Dance from Labyrinth – except I really struggle with 'comedy' dance 

   

  Also REALLY like nightcall from Drive but its not a well known song or film so doubt i'll be able to use it! xx

  If you go for a musical number (so so fun!!) my advice is to avoid big group chorus numbers because it can look funny to have only one person dancing to such big group pieces. Instead stick to solo tracks. For soundtracks you can check out…

  -the new Star Treck movie (Enterprising Young Men is my fave)

  -Any Pirates of the Carribean movie

  -Kick-ass (Strobe (Adagio in D minor) is amazing!!)

  -Batman (Danny Elfman main score)

  -Superman (John Williams score)

  -Last of the Mohicans

  -Pink Panther

  -Terminator

  I kind of love movie soundtracks lol
