Help me win a pin up photoshoot for my birthday?!
A few days ago I read on Facebook that Shameless Photography (which the lovely ROZ has modeled FOR!) was holding a contest, and to win, you had to submit a love letter to your body. The winner got the opportunity to go to their studio and have a pin-up style makeover and photo shoot – every girl’s dream. Thinking it would be no big deal, I whipped up a letter, and submitted it. Today, I found out that out of 127 submissions, I was chosen as a finalist! The winner is chosen by popular vote, and that is where you come in. You can read my letter ( https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152237069395856&set=a.10152237067535856.1073741826.210559210855&type=1&theater ) on their Facebook page, and all you have to do is click LIKE – your vote will be recorded. The contest ends on 9pm PST/12am EST Valentine’s Day (which is actually my birthday!) and the winner will be informed then.
This would be an amazing experience for me, not only as a great birthday present, but as a chance to make even more peace with my body. Please, take a moment to vote (every one counts!), and if you can, spread the word? Tell your friends, ask your husband… I don’t have very many friends, so I’m looking towards the communities I am a part of and hoping word of mouth can help me with this! Hey guys, so I feel really weird bringing this up again (and having it here in general, really), but I am currently in first place to win this photoshoot.. it’s a real possibility right now! So Im no longer in first place and I figured out why – the girl does roller derby and everyone in her community of roller derby is liking her submission! Let’s show them pole is just as strong and tight knitted? It takes two seconds (literally!!) and it would truly mean the world to me. I really need support from all over! Thank you all!
