    Hey Veeners!!
I’m starting to choreograph a doubles routine to the song Le Disko by Shiny Toy Guns. I have this idea that is starting to take shape in my head and for part of it I’d like my partner and I to look like we are using each other’s bodies to help us fight (although there is not going to be any visible enemy, it’s more for showboating our bad-ass ninja/assassin skills if that makes any sense haha).
I know there has got to be loads of movie/TV scenes of two people fighting off a large group and using each other’s bodies to do it. I’m thinking things like counterbalancing to be able to do spinning kicks or something along those lines… but I can’t seem to specifically remember any scenes to look up and I need to see something like that to try to logistically figure out how to do something like that (and if it’s within our skill set).
Anyone with suggestions?? I’m also open to any sort of inspiration people can offer of choreography examples with ninja/assassin fighting styles.
    Thank you so much!

This is not two people working together, but I still think you might find it helpful. This is from Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity. Two guys fighting (rather erotically).

Thanks battlestarlet – this is a great start! I think most of what they are doing is probably a bit beyond our reach right now but certainly inspiring to work towards! And I think I see a couple of interesting elements that could be doable too!! 🙂

Tango is a form of fighting dance. I would search for that. Put here is one of my favorites … Tango Pole Dance.

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in the Rush Hour movies and also the Charlie’s Angels fight scenes may be some inspiration. I was trying to think if Jason Statham had any double fight scenes but I think he mostly fights on his own. BUT, he has some AWESOME choreography.

Oh shit, and Buffy and Faith. I know there are a few scenes of them fighting together to fight off vampires but a quick search could not find them.
