I finally get to order my pole tomorrow! It’s taken sooooo long, I did get an aerobic pole a few months ago but it was total poo so sent it back and got my cash back, so was saving for the x-pole and almost had enough when my washing machine broke.. kinda figured we needed a washer more than a pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif so had to start saving all over again. But after a trip to the bank in the morning I shall have enough to order my pole and I’m totally excited lol (I’m totally unfit so it’s going to be hard work but am still excited)

Was going to ask about videos too, what sort of cameras does everybody use? would a webcam do the job or am I going to need a proper camcorder?

My photo camera has a video recorder option on and I use that. It wouldnt be the best quality but it ok. Ive also used my cell phone camera to record videos. If your web cam records on to your computer you can upload the video to this site but if not youtube has an option to record from your webcam. welcome welcome!! it’s so exciting when you finally get a pole isn’t it? be sure to come to chats on fridays to meet the regulars, every week im more and more amazed at how many amazing people come, it’s growing every week! definitely invest in veena’s lessons when you get your pole if you can, you’ll be a pole-pro in no time and will learn from the best!

I got the lessons already.. before the pole has even come lol I was kinda hoping it would come saturday morning but it didn’t https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif so I’ve just been doing the warm up, doing press ups, superman back and the switches (legs bent hehe).. I tried those side lift things and did about 3 on each side that’s how weak I am. A couple of other bits then the cool down. Very relaxing actually, never thought I’d say that about exercise!

ahh! that’s fantastic!! those stretches and stuff seem monotonous but honestly they’re amazing. when i first started all this stuff i hadn’t danced in awhile and couldn’t even kick above like my hip, now i can do a kick over my head in routines https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif im so happy you got the lessons, they’re gonna help out MAJORLY when you start learning

I was trying to get my X-Pole for a while to but it always seemed like something would come up when I had enough money! When you pole finally comes you will remember it for the rest of your life.
