Holiday Pole Events in Los Angeles
There are a TON of events happening in the LA area for you polers in the next few weeks. Not sure these events are posted elsewhere, so I thought I’d spread the word. I’m going to try to hit up all of these!
When: Pole Dance Fun, Mingling & Great Sushi
What: Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 from 7:30pm – 10:30pm
Where: Hana Sushi, 11831 Wilshire Blvd, North side of street,
Valet & Street Parking Available. (Next door to Q’s Billiards)
What: The ladies of Allure will be performing throughout the night this Wednesday. Students can come down and show their sexy moves to their friends and family. We’ll also be giving Free Pole Lessons to new pole enthusiasts.
Cost: Free (I think)What: "A Pole Dance Festivus"
When: Friday, December 11 starts @ 10pm
Where: The Underground, 19 E. Citrus, Suite 103, Redland, CA 92373
What: Michula Nunez (Antix), Leigh Acosta (Xpolesitions), Nadia Sharif (Xpolesitions), Yvonne Pangramuyen (The Pole Garage, aka "Pomegranate" on SV) and tons of Antix students performing.
Cost: No cover – get there early for best seats.What: Winter Wonderland Pole Dancing Extravaganza (X-Polesitions Holiday Recital & After Party)
When: Saturday Dec. 19th from 7:30PM – 1:00AM
Where: 4316 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles CA (on the corner of Heliotrope)
What: Come out and enjoy a festive night of Pole Dancing and absolute fun! Open Bar all night long!

"We’re holding our Christmas Open House this year at Jody Domingue’s gorgeous photography studio in Hollywood. It’s a swanky location on Melrose that is perfect for a swinging pole party kinda party!
Jody is a well-known celebrity photographer and she’ll be shooting all night, capturing you on the photo booth wall or back in the harem room. The pole will be up for play and we’ll also have sexy toys courtesy of Freddy and Eddy. There will also be a professional make-up artist on hand to make you camera-ready!
It’s a pot-luck so please bring an appetizer or main dish. I’ll supply the wine and desserts!
The theme is Moulin Rouge. The costume being suggested is a corset, short black skirt and fishnet stockings. We can dress you up further once you get there with our boas, fans, hats, bustles, gloves, etc. Of course, you can always just come as you are, but with the opportunity to get some professional shots taken, why not dress up?
This is an open event, and you may bring your friends.

Thanks verucablue – this event looks fun! And it’s a good opportunity to meet the Heart & Pole folks without having to drive to Torrance (I live in Hollywood.)

My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to a wine bar in Redlands and then a candlit dinner for my 30th birthday. It was a surprise and could not say I didn’t want to go. I will check out Antix’s your tube site for videos. I am sad I didn’t get to meet you. -

Do you take classes with Michula at Antix? She must be a great teacher – I was so impressed with her students. They had a lot of spunk and seemed so comfortable performing.

Unfortunately I do not take lessons. I really can’t afford it at this time. I’ve made some financial changes in my life. If they work out the way I want them to, I will be able to start lessons after the new year. I love her work and the videos of her class and students!
