Tried to the comment on the video but it didn’t stick. Have you tried starting with the lower hand higher? I do my holly drop the same way and I recall bruised ribs in the beginning. Not cool 🙁 I’m not certain if it was raising the lower hand to create more room for my body to pass through or if it was moving quicker in the drop that helped me stop hitting my ribs. Looks good so far. Good luck!

Yay! That's me in the vid!
There's a certain amount of rotation around the pole that happens on the end of a (any) switch into an Inside Leg Hang. It's where the pole moves onto the back of the calf of the hooking leg (so that the lower leg ends up more vertical, note that it's almost horizontal at the beginning of the trick), and where the pole moves from the front to the back of your ribs and ends up on your back.
Also use the back/free leg as a counter weight to pull your hips flat.

In this video I use a lot of speed to dive through with my arm. If I do it more slowly, I rotate a lot at the end.

I would bring that bottom hand up a little higher. As you are transitioning, squeeze a little harder with the knee pit to hold you up more while you place the torso. I also twist my torso quite a bit while transitioning, trying to aim the 'pocket' of my side (area between ribs and hip) at the pole, as opposed to the back of the arm (although that does play a roll). I hope any of that made sense! 😛

Agreed, the bottom hand needs to be higher. The higher up the torso the more dramatic the drop looks.
