I want to start weight training at home, I don’t have a home gym or any type of weights, I have a pull up bar which I haven’t used yet..I am going to buy dumb bells, I thinking of getting 10 pounds to start with then 20, 50 and so on, what are some good exercises to do with dumb bells? Do you have any suggestions? Advice? Thank you

You’ll find several options for the whole body in this video!

Here are the FREE versions, just clips posted, to my Instagram account as well. They were posted when I was fairly new to IG so they would be near the beginning of my account. 🙂 https://instagram.com/studioveena/

I use between 10 – 18 pounds for anything that uses arms only. For chest and back I use 20 – 40 pounds depending on the exercise. I will say that I have not lifted weights in a LOOOOONG time. You can get a great workout using body weight and things like a suspension trainer and pull up bar. I do a lot of the exercises I post to the lessons, like the newest ones for the challenge.

I haven’t used weights in a long time either… I’ll start using my pull up bar cause that will help with pole. I noticed I can do a pole hold for 3 seconds so I’m improving at least, I have been doing the challenge every day and haven’t missed a day yet. I like a lot of the exercises in the challenge so far.. Thanks
