Home pole room lighting
Hey all, I’m so excited today because I just placed my order today for my new chrome x-pole! It should be here next week and I have an empty guest bedroom I am going to put it in and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for the room lighting (i.e. where to put it what kind to get, color etc.). So far I am thinking of painting the room like a dark burnt red or dark dark purple. I found some mirrors on craigslist so I am really getting inspired ot make the room awesome too!

Rope lights or christmas lights around the floor or circling the mirrors. You can get strips of LED’s off ebay that you can change the color and dim them that I used for making my bed for pretty cheap. I just looked and you can get a 5 meter strip for about $15. I also like the Ikea Holmo lamps (http://www.ebay.com/itm/IKEA-HOLMO-Floor-lamp-light-white-Rice-paper-shade-Modern-Contemporary-New-/371212985394?pt=Lamps_US&hash=item566e04a432). They give low lighting but enough to set a mood.
