I’ve taken a class at Inner Me – and the best part of the experience was Brandi, the pole Instructor. And Mike-Keith, a super fun, super strong instructor who taught some other classes that day but came in to play on the pole with us. The studio wasn’t quite what I expected but they are friendly, and Brandi was knowledgeable and encouraging. She broke down some tricks

    Oops! Sorry!

She broke down some tricks that I’d been trying on my own and explained them to me in a way that I understood and could work with even after class.

Glad you started this thread.  I'm moving to Houston this summer and need a studio to attend.  I've heard a little about S Factor and saw the website for InnerMe.  I also know of Ego Fitness.  I met one of the instructors CryStylez and I follow her on youtube.  I like her choreography.  I hope you get a lot of responses.

There are quite a few pole studios in Houston these days.  You have to keep in mind that this is Texas and everything is BIG here including the cities.  Depending on where you live and/or work, it could take an hour and a half (on a good day) to get to a studio. Luckily we have studios in lots of different sections of the city.

I've been to several studios for drop in-classes, workshops, etc.  I have been a student at polelateaz for over a year.  They have lots of drop-in classes which are fun and can be killer workouts depending on the class and instructor.  The series classes (they have six) are taught with specific skills in mind and they do a good job of breaking down the moves.  They also emphasize safety.  There's always something fun and challenging (or frustrating) to work on and series students have the option of open-pole practice sessions.  I love it!!
