How are your mirrors set up??
Posted by HollyInSeattle on May 20, 2013 at 4:09 pmI have a brand new pole room and currently just have a smallish mirror on wall. I am curious as to what everyone else on a meager budget is using for mirrors. I have been looking on Craigslist for very large freestanding types and also thought maybe the packs of 6 frameless ones to adhere to wall might work creating a mirrored wall feel. I would need to buy a ton of them though. Some people don't need mirrors but I definitely feel like I need them. Thanks friends!!

Me again. Googled Ikea mirror tiles and looks like a good idea. Any thoughts? I'm currently obsessed with this project 🙂

My current mirrors are from ikea, they are $120/piece. When I didn't want to pay that much, I looked on Craigslist and found one of the big bathroom mirrors for $20. Also try the Goodwill. When people are remodeling bathrooms, they tend to donate mirrors because their so large and they don't want to deal with throwing it away.

Also look for mirrored closet door on craigslist. I think you can even get new ones from Lowes for under $100.

Ill post a pic and sorry there’s 11 on the wall and one extra in my room 🙂 I also have another wall with my other pole which has the same setup but less mirrors

I got mine at the flea market. $40 for 3 large frameless mirrors that together reach from floor almost to ceiling. Maybe craigslist might have some good deals.

Thank you diva! 🙂 I love the gaps between the mirrors looks better then them all together

if u look at one of my recent vids u can see my mirrors. I got one big center mirror at a hotel liquidation/remodel store for 50 then bought 4 small mirrors from Target for 5$each. So $70 and I have a full wall of mirrors.

I got the one seen here in this vid for 30.00 from Walmart.

Wow! Thanks everyone for the feedback and ideas. I decided on a couple big huge Walmart mirrors to place freestanding on floor vs. small tiles. Cheap, versatile, and no work cleaning up wall when home goes on the market. Per hubby. 🙂 thank you lovelies.

Look on craigs list like was mentioned above! I pick them up from salvage yards here in town and cragis list. Take the frames off it is not hard, just need a screw driver, the old brass colored doors no one wants. The 4 foot wide doors are great, then you can attach them to the wall with mirror brackets sold at the hardware store,
I have them in my Pole Studio

If you have a local salvage yard, where all the doors, windows, bricks and such end up from tearing buildings down or re doing houses, you will find them there…contractors take them there and sell all the parts they can from a re-do project. Go in and negotiate a good price, $35.00 a mirror is a good price.

Happy to say, went to Salvage yard and found 6, yes 6 HUGE mirrored closet doors 22.50 ea and mirrored my entire room. GORGEOUS!
