  • How can you be sure you didn’t over-tighten X-pert?!

    Hello team!

As you can tell from my subject line I finally got my pole!!!! I can't wait!!

Setting it up today was quite the process. I'm a little worried I over-tightened the pole to the ceiling because it fell on me earlier today and that made me nervous. How do I make sure it's not over-tightened??

    Thanks!

If you have spin mode option…..if it doesn't spin very freely (when on spin mode) …as in, if it catches, as it turns, then it's too tight.

I'm always afraid I'll either overtighten my xpert or it'll be too loose and fall on me. It's never fallen on me, but I was poling a couple days ago and I think I may have overtightened it because it wasn't spinning smoothly.  I could've sworn it was starting to bow slightly, so I'm hoping after I took it down it will be fine next time I put it up.

I can count on one hand the number of times I have used my pole since I got it. I don't want things to be going wrong already! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

The best way to not over tighten it is: barely tighten it to the ceiling (to the point of slight resistance), level the pole, then tun it maybe once more. After that give it a really good gorilla shake and do a fireman. If it moves, then you know to turn it just a tad more, if it stays put, then you are good. Better to have to keep repeating the process than to overtighten and ruin your pole.

OH ok I think I've definitely been overtightening then! Yikes. Thanks sensual!

I always wondered this a bit too… the spinning tip is awesome – I'll definitely notice if i do it now!
