I am working on a submission video for a competition, for this particular competition I can only do spins, floor and transitions. My hands are sooo banged up and callused! What do you girls do to get through this?? I was thinking of tape but I have some between my fingers and there’s no good way to cover them. I have weight lifting gloves but they make me have less rotations. What can I do???

    thanks for posting chemmie!

glitter, shave the calluses down or you risk getting blisters underneath them and the thicker they get, the angrier they will be… make sure you moisturize when you can!!

I didn’t know that’s what caused that. I have nasty calluses on my feet because I dance on carpet and I’ve been getting these horrifying blisters making huge pieces of skin come off and it’s raw underneath and takes weeks to heal. So. Gross. Not. Fun.

Painting over them with Dermabond will keep them from getting worse and allow you to keep training. Toi toi!
