I don’t know whether this is a for sale ad, a wanted ad, a frustrated rant, or a strange combination of all 3. Please bear with me.

I have had my lil mynx stainless steel 50 mm rotator for about a year now, and I’ve become tired of how hard it can be to use. This was initially part of my strategy, because I wanted the pole that I practice on at home to be the hardest one to use, so when I go out, it’s always easier. Bad strategy!

I’m looking for an chrome spinning XPole or a powder coated rotator. I live in Orlando.

I could use any advice that anyone is willing to give 🙂

Is it the 50 mm or the finish that is causing your frustration? I ask because I am first pole shopping. thanks

I’m pretty sure it’s the finish. Although, since I’m doing it over again, I’m going with 45mm for better leg holds

I had 50mm stainless. For me the finish was ok. I had trouble with the size and did not realize it until until I went to a studio that had 45mm. I could do so much more because I could have more grip. So I got a 45mm chrome and love it.

Thanks! I’m going to probably end up buying one full price, because it seems like they’re worth it

Kimmie, I hear ya! I did pretty much the same thing thinking the stainless couldn’t possibly be that much more slippery and it would only make me stronger. I do have the 45 mm but that stainless is SOOO slippery, especially in the winter when the humidity is low regardless of me running a humidifier nonstop. I have had my eyes open for a used powder coated Lil Mynx that I could use with the same mount I have but haven’t found any close to me.

You can probably get the stainless powder coated for about $50.

Wow greyeyes! I didn’t know there were multiple people in this struggle. I hope you find a powder coated soon or end up finding somebody to do it like I might. Chemgoddess, do you happen to know how I could go about doing this?

I have not done it myself but there are quite a few here that have. Too many discussions to link so I am just linking the search: https://www.studioveena.com/searches/index?s=powder+coating

And it looks like the cost varies from city to city.

All the kids are getting the pole sleeve now. I dont have one so i cant say from personal experience; but you can try that. Its supposed to be the ultimate stick so good you can wear clothes while you pole. You buy it and put it on your pole like a little glove 🙂
