“I am a Pole Dancer”
One of my friends just started the blog "I am a Pole Dancer" (http://iamapoledancer.blogspot.com/), and I just wanted to share it here since I think this is a great initiative.
It is a blog where pole dancers can submit pictures, one of yourself pole dancing and one non-pole picture of you, with labels describing who you are. (It's hard to explain, if you check out the blog you can see the pictures. Hold your mouse pointer thingy over the pics for them to change.) The point of this blog is to show non-dancers (and each other) how different we all are even if we share the same sport/hobby/passion/obsession, and to break some of the stereotypes about what pole dancers are and are not.
