    I finally got it!
You all probably know that feeling all too well.
I just experienced it for the first time today! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

My 45mm chrome xpole arrived today, ive been playing around. This is my FIRST time on a pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif I was soooo scared. My hands kept sweating and i was just nervous.

I was just moving around a bit trying different things, making sure my pole could withhold my weight https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif , once i ‘kind of’ mastered the half spin, i thought id give the fireman spin a go. I ran to my computer, watched the lesson a few more times. Ran out tried it again, I bashed my foot, my knee, my shin. I kept trying, ran back to watch the video again.
I kept dropping really fast before i got a rotation done (I dont have much strength + im bigger)

And then suddenly BAM. I did it.
All the bumps and bruises are going to be worth it.

    Day One is over.
I now realise how important those strength lessons of veenas are!
I can see how good the tennis ball strength exercise is perfect.
Perhaps when i get time ill edit (I ran off to watch veenas lessons soooo many times) my video footage and post my practice.

Anyone else felt like this? Share your experience!

It really is a great feeling! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif All at once it just kinda "clicks" and your body does what it is supposed to do and it is awesome when it just suddenly comes together and works! Congratulations! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Woohoo!! Welcome to the addiction! It only gets better(or worse lol) from here on in!
I a covered in bruises most of the time……….People have asked if i have started martial arts or if my hubby has taken to beating me…..LOL

Nope…………all pole related. I bruise every time I work on a new trick/maneuver/spin/hold…..
until that point(s) of contact gets used to it……….I bruise.

Hence why I am staying away from SM………..(for now) my traps are already so flippin tight most of the time cuz I spend too much time in front of the computer or cradling the dang phone between my ear and shoulder………..

What happens when ya work from home…………
I see clients for PT, sports conditioning/pole lessons in the mornings and book keep and prepare taxes by afternoon.
Can’t wait until I have enough clients to train that I can tell all my "shoe box" business men to flutter their clutter on to someone else. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

You are not wrong, its sooo addictive. I need to pace myself so my body will repair!
    Day 2 today was awesome.
Experienced the ‘I finally got it’ feeling again!
Should rest a bit tomorrow. Maybe practice some floor moves instead.

Congratulation on your first fireman!!! You sure got an addiction with pole, once you get that feeling you’ll want it over and over again https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

When I began, I was training every day sometime 2 time a day it’s easy to get caugh and forget to let your body get some rest, but it’s worth it. Now I train every 2 day and if I really need to do something I’ll work on my flexibilty. Wish you a lot of "I got it " feeling in the next week/month https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif
