Hello, fellow polers! Boy, have I been away for a long time. In the past year that I have gone missing from Studioveena (well, not actually missing, I’m sure no one noticed, lol) I got married and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Right now the three of us are temporarily living with my husband’s parents but we will be moving to an apartment pretty soon. We decided to put in a linoleum floor in the whole apartment. It’s still all fresh and new and I really fear of leaving a pressure mark on the soft linoleum floor from the pole (I have an X-Pert). Any ideas on how to deal with this? Is there any way that I could have the floor completely intact?

Welcome back, congratulations on getting married and having your son. I’m not sure about linoleum, I know on wood flooring, title it doesn’t hurt it. I would assume on linoleum floor it shouldn’t. Hopefully someone will know the answer.

Welcome back! And YES WE DID NOTICE! Don’t sell yourself so short! Happy to hear that things are good for you- getting married and having kids is exciting!

I poled on a linoleum floor for a while! My pole (lil mynx) didn’t leave a single mark on that floor, no matter what I did! My pole had little rubber feet on the bottom, and it seemed to work really well.
However, I did find the floor to be extremely grippy on my feet, and actually very painful to do any sort of turns or pirouettes on. So, I got some dancer’s foot pads, and wore those!

Welcome back, congratulations and yes, we did notice 😊

I don’t know if the pole would leave a mark, I would think if it did it might pop back up after you take it down??

Aww, thanks girls, that’s sweet! Well, I guess I’l just have to hope for the best and just take it down immediately after each session 🙂 Runemist34, I did some searching in the forum before posting my discussion and I actually did read that girls had difficulties poling on linoleum. I guess I’ll have to invest in some foot pads, as you mentioned 🙂
