I’m hooked!
Hello everyone from sunny SC. First I have to say how amazing this site is, thank you Veena! Next of course, what makes this site so supercalifragilisticexpialidocious are all the fellow polers. Everyone is from all over the world yet I can’t believe what a small pole community it is. Y’all are so supportive, give great advice, tips, personal experience etc. Thank you for sharing. My personal poling journey started as a “gag”. Our garage has been pretty much a bar type setting for years. A friend had said all that was missing was and I quote was “the stripper pole!!!” Well hubby installed a brass pole for entertainment. It was fun at first, goofing around and what not. I then learned how HARD it actually was to support your own body weight, let alone do spins and tricks. WHOA!! What a work out!! I now understand the “pole fitness” part. I purchased some tutorial DVD’s and started my pole adventure actively a few months ago. Well after stumbling on this site looking for what type xpole to buy (I needed the real deal now that I am a pole addict), I fell in love with studioveena on the forum section. I watched a couple of the free lessons and I was hooked!! I joined right away… Unfortunately there are not any studios near me or I would quit my job and pole all day, LOL. With that being said hubby has since converted the garage aka bar to the now my personal pole studio. Whoo….I know that was a lot to say, so Hi y’all! I am very happy to be here and look forward to chatting with everyone https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
