Impossible to post a video!
Posted by aurelka on November 1, 2013 at 10:41 amHi girls,
I’m rather new here and it’s the first time I post something.
I’ve tried to post a video but each time I want to, I get a
error message “wrong file extension”. My video extension
is “…MTS”. Could anyone help me?Thanks.

We’ll add it to our list of supported files! It should work for you later on today 😊

Thank you very much for your answer.
And now you’re going to think I’m a complete
idiot ; I don’t know how to do it and where the list
of supported files is. Could you once again help me?Aurelka

You don’t need to do anything. We add it on our site, then it will work for you to upload 🙂

I’m having a very difficult time adding videos as well. It takes forever to load. I tried to change the resolution and still won’t upload. What is a good Mega bite size to upload successfully?
My files are MP4..help please. -
Your video needs to be under 2gigs to be uploaded here. However your upload speed will be largely dictated by your internet speed.

My internet speed is fast. What resolution should I record at to keep it at2gigs?
-
Oakmama, It all depends on the length of the video.
What problem are you experiencing with the uploads does the video upload to the point where it gets a green checkmark next to it in the upload box or not?

aurelka I have added MTS files to the allowed uploads. You should be able to upload your files now.

I have tried to upload an .AVI file (445 MB) and a .MOV file (252 MB). I don’t get any error messages, and they upload up to 100%, but then nothing ever shows up. Help please!

scorpiotrickster I need to find out where your computer thinks its going for StudioVeena.Com. We recently moved the site servers and it seems that some computers are caching the old address.
In windows:
Open the Command Prompt window by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Command Prompt
Then type:
ping http://www.studioveena.com
In Mac:
Open Applications, then go to utilities, then open terminal.
Then type:
ping http://www.studioveena.com
In both cases the results will return an IP address which is a number composed of four numbers separated by periods. Please let me know what that number is.

It gave me the same but I also have a message that says
“Waiting delay outdated” (I don’t know if the translation is correct)
and then 100% loss.I don’t know what it means.
